!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The old NA engines were fairly limited with adding power, so this is promising. 200hp would be a riot with under a ton to drag around. Sounds better than the stock car too.

I need to not spend money, but I really like those little Swifts...

That does sound like a lot of fun! Also the dyno comparison between the two is quite impressive:

M odern turbocharged engines feel like they’re running out of breath up top to me.
My last car was a turbo V6 torque monster, but all that torque early on made the high end feel really weak.
I prefer the natural progression of the NA engines and the old turbo setups that built up power towards the top end.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a revvy NA engine. The reviews for the Swift are kind of mixed, so I’d like to give one a try at some point.

I’m think I’ll be looking at one in a couple of years, as an all round car it seems to be a very good package.

I really like the new Swift Sport. So much that I seriously considered buying, well rather financing a new Sport when the local dealership offered them with a 4.000€ discount off the list price at launch. My father even supported this idea and he’s no car person at all. Maybe in two or three years...

I think the trend is to use smaller turbos so there is less lag. It’s about drivability more than raw performance...

They do but that works for most people in most situations.

I'll be keeping the Twingo as my DD for the foreseeable future, but when I can replace it I'll definitely be looking at these. Ticks every box for me.
